MY APPROACH

I like to think of training your dog as one element in a broader category of learning dog language.  You weren't born understanding how your dog communicates, and your dog wasn't born understanding human words.  Just like learning a second language, it takes time, effort and patience to understand your dog. It is not something that starts and ends - it is ongoing.

Hi, I’m Kathy. My passion and love for dogs began at an early age, and there hasn’t been a time in my life where dogs were not a part of it. I have spent many years volunteering my time at animal shelters to help those dogs find their forever families.  An important part of this process is nurturing a positive relationship with each dog to develop a bond and trust.

My approach is to work with you and your dog where you currently are and help you get to where you want to be.  We’ll have a quick call after you submit your input form to  discuss your needs and set up an initial consult.

 

There are no requirements related to number of sessions or time in between sessions. My goal is to be flexible in meeting your needs.
